Why Does the Frenulum Tear?
The primary cause is anatomical brevity. Under mechanical pressure during erection, the tight band cannot cope and tears, leading to sharp pain and bleeding.
First Aid and Treatment for Frenulum Tears
Apply firm pressure with a clean cloth for 5-10 minutes. Leaving it to heal on its own causes irregular scar tissue that tears easily in the future. The correct approach is frenuloplasty to repair and lengthen the band permanently.
